Aftercare

30 Minutes after your service:

Use one (1) Antiseptic Wipe and swipe your brows gently to remove any leftover pigment or blood. Apply Healing Ointment provided in your Aftercare Kit.

The Night of Your Service:

Wash your hands and wet two (2) cotton rounds with warm water. Apply mild, unscented soap to the cotton round and wash your brows thoroughly. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Use one (1) Antiseptic wipe and gently swipe over your brows, then apply the Healing Ointment and get your beauty sleep!

From this point until the brows are healed, keep them as dry as possible. When you shower, keep your face out of the direct stream of the water. On days you need to wash your hair, use your shower guard to keep your brows as dry as possible. Keep a clean paper towel nearby to pat them dry if they get wet and immediately apply the Healing Ointment.

Day 2-14: Apply the healing ointment morning and night, enough to keep them moist. Apply as needed if they start to feel tight and itchy.

Do NOT pick at your brows as they are healing. You want any flaking to fall off naturally for best-healed results. Avoid Sweating as much as you can.

Avoid Saunas, Steam Rooms, etc

Do not immerse your brows in water, no swimming, etc

Avoid Botox, chemical peels, and fillers for 3 weeks after your session.

Avoid Retinol, serums, lotion, makeup on/around brows for the entirety of your healing process (1.5-2 weeks)

You should be Rebooked for the Perfecting Session, if not please reach out ASAP so we can add you in our books to achieve your dream look on the second session.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW LONG IS THE APPOINTMENT?

Each procedure will be anywhere from 3 to 4 hours in length. We start with an in-depth consultation to go over your brow goals. Next, we measure and create a perfect symmetry based off your facial structure, and then draw the outline. Once you are in love with shape, we numb your brows with topical numbing cream and customize a color that matches your natural hair line then we begin the procedure.

HOW LONG WILL MY BROWS LAST FOR?

A healed set of semi-permanent brows is complete after 2 sessions. After your 6-8 week touch up your brows will last anywhere from 1-3 years following the correct after care maintenance.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER MY APPOINTMENT?

ARE YOU A GOOD CANIDATE?

Please make sure 1 week prior to your appointment, you avoid taking blood thinners, ibuprofen, Advil, niacin, vitamin e and fish oils. No need to touch your brows before! 1 week prior, avoid plucking, waxing, or threading in that area. If your skin care routine includes Retinol/ Retin -A make sure to also stop 1 week before your appointment. You will need to wait 2 weeks after receiving Botox to get this procedure done. Lastly, 24 hours before do not consume any alcohol or caffeine beverages.

If you have any questions or concerns about the process, I will do my best to explain everything thoroughly before and throughout the procedure. I begin by removing any brow makeup and cleansing the area. Then I will take before pictures and move into the most important part of the entire experience, brow mapping. Propper mapping is the guideline to the perfect set of brows. It ensures symmetry, shape, thickness, and proportionality are all addressed and created to each clients face shape and individual desires. After we agree on a shape a numbing cream is then applied to ensure maximum client comfort during the process.

I will send you home with an aftercare kit and instructions, please follow each step because the quality of your brows and how they heal depends on it. Make sure not to pick, rub, or scrub your brows till they are fully healed. The closer you follow instructions, the better results.

During your 6-8 week touch up I will reinforce hair strokes or shading that was lost during the healing process. At this time, we can make any adjustments to the shape or color.

We ask that you are over 18 years of age, not pregnant or breastfeeding, do not have eczema psoriasis in the area, no open wound or sores on the brows, not currently on Accutane or will be within 6 months - 1 year, and do not have issues with healing. Microblading is great for individuals with dry to normal skin who are looking for a natural enhancement to their eyebrows. Whereas the Micro shading or Combo Brow technique is great for all skin types and better suits individuals with oily skin, acne, or very large pores. This technique offers a soft natural look for those with very little eyebrow hair.
